At North Star we like to look at it like this as a general rule: Trades posted for everyone (neighborhood/friends) should be posted as an uneven trade for profit
Some players will leave a guild that post uneven trades to go to a guild that only does even trades or fair trades. Many guilds post a rule to this effect right in their charter on their guild info page. I know that a lot of players hear others talking about how they feel trading standards should be and it seems that a majority of players like stick to fair trades only. The trade market is set up for transfer of production (not fair trades). They sum it up in the first sentence by stating:
